a) Annotated photographs of you setting up and using equipment -
This is a photo of me recording one of the voice overs for the documentary.
This equipment didnt require any setting up, all you do is turn it on and press record when your ready.

Here I am setting up lighting to brighten one of the shots in the documentary.

b) Discussing scenes in which you followed your script and storyboard and justifying scenes when you went off script - this should just be on the 2 or 3 key scenes you storyboarded and scripted

I was meant to have a second interview, however the person I was initially interviewing backed out and I couldn't find a replacement. Because of this, I had to get some shots that weren't planned out on my storyboard or in the script of my documentary.

c) Explain how you followed safe working practices on locations - this should reference how you used equipment safely and overcame any issues on the locations

During the production, I made sure to follow safe working practices on all the locations I went to. For example, any equipment that was not in use at the time, was put away nowhere near anyone, to make sure no one trips up.
Also, some of the locations in the documentary were quite out of the way, and it was very hot at the time, so everyone brought a drink so they didn't overheat in the sun.
When it rained one day during the shoot, we made sure to take the electrical equipment out of the rain so it didn't get broken, like the camera or mic.
We also wore appropriate foot wear when it rained, like grippy shoes so no one would slip or trip up.

d) Summarise your production process - how closely did your production follow your planning? What went well? What were some issues?

The production did follow most of the panning I did before shooting it, however, some parts of the production did not follow the planning. For example, I could not get all the shots that were on my storyboard, due to things like weather/transport that slowed down the recording process. Also, the interviews didn't really follow the planning, as first of all, someone decided they didn't want to be in the documentary anymore so I had to rush about and find someone else to do it.
The things that went well in the production were 1. Getting the B roll shots was quite easy, as where I live, there are a lot of interesting things i could record for the documentary so that took no time. 2. The editing of the documentary went quite well and didn't take too long.
